Officer Post in Indian Air Force Job Vacancies | Air Force Common Admission Test


Both men and women can became officers in Indian Air Force by passing the Air Force Common Admission Test. There are vacancies in different branches. Engineering students can also apply for this post. It is based on University Entry Scheme. The preliminary test is the Air Force Common Admission test. There are different Syllabuses for men and women.

Applications to 11th Short service commission course in Flying branch, 82nd Aeronautical Engineers Course in Technical branch( Permanent commission), 54th  Short service commission Course, 133th ground duty officers course (permanent commission) in Ground duty branch and 26th Short service Commission Coures are invited. These course will commence on January 2013.

Applications to Technical branch via UES – 2013 (University Entry Scheme) (Permanent Commission) are also invited. These courses will commence on july 2013. These courses are available for only men.

Applications to 40th short service commission in Flying branch, 54th short service commission in Technical branch and 42nd short service commission in Ground duty branches are invited from women. Women can apply to these courses. These courses will commence on January 2013. (Should be unmarried and below 25 years of age).


Last date of Application – January 13 2012 and January 20 for Applications from Laksha Dweep.

Selection Model- Air Force Common Admission test will be conducted on 2012 February 26. Exam centres will be available in kochi and Trivandrum across Kerala. The winners list will be published in www.careerairforce.nic.in
