Malayalam Cinema Stars from box office are now going into
the cricket grounds for a dust off with other cinema stars from India. The first
season of the Celebrity Cricket League have been a great success. Fans from all
parts of India came to watch their favorite stars play cricket live. The inclusion
of Malayalam cinema stars will be a plus point to the Celebrity Cricket League
in 2012. The name of the Kerala team is ‘Kerala Strikers’. The jersey of the
Kerala Strikers has been unveiled on 6th October 2011. Super star Mammotty
handed over the jersey to the vice captain of the team, Cine Star Indrajith. The
captain of the Kerala Strikers is none other than supers star Mohan Lal.
The unveiling of the jersey for Kerala Strikers was held
from Taj Malabar Hotel. Mohan Lal was not present at the function. Mohan Lal
could not attend the program due to fever, news reports say. The team members
came to the ramp wearing jersey. Some pretty models came along with them to the
ramp. It was a great evening in Taj Hotel. Celebrity Cricket League will be a
medium for Mollywood stars to mingle with other stars in India. It will open
new friendships and opportunities for all stars. Minister KB Ganesh Kumar was
present at the stage. He wished all the luck to Kerala Strikers. He said that
this will be a great use for both cricket and film field.
