Missy Franklin of America claimed Backstroke Victory in London Olympics 2012

Also known as the female Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin wins the backstroke event in the swimming category in the London Olympics 2012. She finished the 100 meters in just 58.33 seconds. She had a tough chance in the event since she finished her 200m freestyle (semi-final) event 10 minutes ago. Even then she finished in a good time. It was no ordinary victory. There was a great expectation from this young girl and she perfectly fitted according to the situation. She had a little time in changing her swimsuits and managed to cop up with the situation proving that Missy Franklin is a true Olympian. She faced many other great faces in the swimming history. There was Gemma Spofforth who was a former  record  holder in this event in 100ms. There was also Emily Seebohm, a German Australian. She set a record of 58.23 seconds in the heats.
