Cowboy is the latest film of Asif Ali. P Balachandra Kumar is the director of this film. He is a debutant director. The film Cowboy is fully produced from Singapore and Malaysia. The lead actress in the film is Mythili. These pairs were the hit pairs from the movie ‘Salt N Pepper’. It will be another hit performance from these two again. Venu Gopal is the costume designer. Ari Alex is the camera man of ‘Cowboy”.
 Story of Cowboy…The name of the character of Asif Ali is Manu. Manu and his family is settled in Malaysia. Manu is a typical youngster from Kerala with a lazy temperament. The story continues with the incidents happening around Manu. Mythil is the main actress in the film. Apart from them, Khusbu and Bala also have an important role in the film Cowboy.

Vijay Kumar from India Wins Silver Medal in London Olympics 2012


The 26 year old army man, Vijay Kumar added pride to both Indian Army as well as the nation itself by winning a Silver medal in the London Olympics 2012. It was a tight competition and the best came out winning. Vijay Kumar faced 5 other top marksmen in the world to clinch this pride moment. The 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol event saw the unsung hero winning a silver medal. There were no high expectations from this event.
 There were six top shooters in the world for the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. It included world champion Alexei Klimov of Russia. Unfortunately he didn’t got any medal. Then there was Ding Feng and Zhang Jian  from China and Christain Reitz from Germany. Vijay Kumar is the second medal winner from India after Gagan Narang. Gagan Narang got a bronze medal in the 10m air rifle event.
 Vijay Kumar in the Army…He belongs to the 16th Dogra regiment in the Indian Army. He is an army Subedar.

Anoop Menon’s Buddy – Malayalam Movie Buddy Review


‘Who wanna be my buddy’. It’s a nice start to express the theme of the film ‘Buddy’ in simple. Buddy is the new Malayalam movie starring Anoop Menon. Anoop Menon is an actor who has a different style of approach in the Malayalam movies. His character keeps him at a different level from other stars. This film will be a fine addition to his collections.


The main talk about the film ‘ Buddy ‘ is that it conveys the details of a different relationship between a father and son. The film Buddy is directed by a debutant director, Raj Parbati Menon. The film is produced by Noushad under the ‘ Noushad Big Screen’ banner. This is next film production after the Malayalam movie ‘ Spanish Masala’. Tini Tom is also acting in the film along with Anoop Menon. The film is expected to be a variety film in its theme and style of presentation. The release date of the film is not yet published.

Jawan of Vellimala – Malayalam Movie Starring Mammooty and Asif Ali


Jawan of Vellimala is the new Malayalam movie directed by Anoop Kannan. He is a debutant director. Mammooty and Asif Ali is accompanied by Mamta Mohandas and Sreenivasan. As the name suggests, the story of the film takes place in a village called ‘Vellimala’. Jawan of Vellimala  is produced by Mammooty itself under the Play House banner. Sadique, Sunil Sugatha and Amith Layona are the other actors in the film.

Story of ‘Jawan of Vellimala’The main story of Jawan of Vellimala is taking place in a village called Vellimala. There is a dam in that village. The people in the village considers this dam as their prestige. Mammooty is the central character. His character in the movie is ‘Gopi Krishnan’ who retired from the military voluntarily. He reaches Vellimala as a worker. The other characters are Varghese ( a government employee at this dam) and Koshi Oommen. Mamta Mohandas is a project officer at the same dam site. She is an active social worker. The story continues when these characters meets together in the course of time. 

Saina Nehwal in London Olympics 2012


Saina Nehwal is a well known Badminton player with her performance in the Beijing Olympics 2008. She reached the quarter finals of Beijing Olympics 2008. Saina Nehwal was born on march 17th 1990. She is the first Indian to reach the Olympic quarter finals and the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships. She holds an amazing record in the Badminton arena.

Saina Nehwal reached the finals of world Junior Championships in 2006. She is the first Indian Woman to do this. She also got an Arjuna award in 2009. Soon she was awarded with Padma Shri in 2010 due to her amazing performance in the year 2009.International Badminton federation  named her as the Most Promising Player in 2008. 2010 was a crowning year for Saina Nehwal. She got the highest sporting honour in India, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in that year. She is also the first Indian Woman to win a Super Series Tournament which was held in 2009.

Saina Nehwal made her debut in 2003. She said her ambition is to win an Olympic gold medal. It was quoted in 2005 and she seems to be so determined to achieve that goal in her life. She is an Indian citzen and represents India in the Badminton event in the London Olympics 2012. Her current ranking is 5. She reached her top ranking in 2010 which is 2.

Missy Franklin of America claimed Backstroke Victory in London Olympics 2012


Also known as the female Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin wins the backstroke event in the swimming category in the London Olympics 2012. She finished the 100 meters in just 58.33 seconds. She had a tough chance in the event since she finished her 200m freestyle (semi-final) event 10 minutes ago. Even then she finished in a good time. It was no ordinary victory.

There was a great expectation from this young girl and she perfectly fitted according to the situation. She had a little time in changing her swimsuits and managed to cop up with the situation proving that Missy Franklin is a true Olympian. She faced many other great faces in the swimming history. There was Gemma Spofforth who was a former  record  holder in this event in 100ms. There was also Emily Seebohm, a German Australian. She set a record of 58.23 seconds in the heats. It was interesting to note that Missy Franklin never recorded a time that fast. Missy Franklin had six events totally. They include 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 4*100m freestyle relay, 4*100m medley and 4*200m freestyle relay. She got a bronze medal in the 4*100m freestyle relay. Missy Franklin is only 17 years old and getting a medal in the Olympic event is just a teenager could dream of.
