The great human race came to a standstill in the year 2020 due to the deadly Corona virus also known as COVID-19. The outbreak began in the wet markets of Wuhan city located in Hubei province of China. Though the origin of this outbreak is still a mystery, our best researches indicates the origin to be a wet market in China. There were as few as 40 infections during December 2019 in Wuhan. However, it has now spread to 213 countries and territories around the world resulting in 6,463,647 infections and 382,709 deaths. COVID-19 has affected all forms of business around the world. There isn’t a single industry that hasn’t been touched by Corona Virus. Be it tourism, travel, agriculture, retail stores, there isn’t a single area that has been affected by COVID-19. Dussehra Festivals in India | Dussehra in South India


Dussehra is a great festival celebrated by the people of India with great pleasure. The history of Dussehra stretches back to Ramayan. It is believed that Dussehra is celebrated when Lord Ram achieved victory over Ravan. It is a festival of light. It is believed that it will remove all bad happenings and evil around people. The festival is full of happiness as it remarks the return of Lord Ram.on the 10th day of the Shikla Paksh or aswin (bright star) Dussehra is celebrated. It is according to Hindu calendar. It usually happens between October and November.

In south India, Dussehra is celebrated for 10 days. It is full of dance, music and folk dance performances. It is a thrilling experience from Day 1. People prepare delicious food items as well. There is also an exhibition going in between the festival. Dussehra is celebrated all over India. It is having a slight variety in each part of India. There is some difference between Dussehra in North India and South India. It is again different in East India. The main idea of Dussehra is any way the same. People performs it in different ways.
