Kumar Ram Narain Karthikeyan was born on 14^th of January 1977. His father was also a racing champion for India. His father, Shri G.R Karthikeyan was a former Indian National Rally Champion. He won the south India Rally 7 times. He recognized his son’s love for the racing sport very soon. He enrolled him to the Elf- Winfield School in France for professional training. It was the starting time for his glorious career.

He soon became known as ‘The Fastest Indian’ in the world. World’s premier automotive racing magaxine, Autosport called him that way. He won the feature race in A1 Grand Prix. Winners of India Got Talent Season 3
